There are so many great options for places to stay in Las Vegas these days but none are as iconic as the Bellagio. Between the gardens, the fountains, and the perfectly centered spot, there are few hotels that are as easily recognizable as the Bellagio.
I have stayed at most of the hotels on the Strip and the ones I have not stayed in personally, I have seen the rooms when visiting other friends staying there. So many factors can play into a decision on the Strip from availability, price point, parties, and planned events, that it was easy for me in the 4-5 years we lived there to find reasons to see them all. I planned a last minute girls trip recently and after much deliberating we decided to stay at the Bellagio for a fun 3 night stay!
Our room was perfectly located on the 16th floor, centered over the Bellagio Fountains. Every 15 minutes or so, all we had to do was look out the window and watch the show. If we turned our TV to a specific channel we could even hear the music for it! It is such an awesome view to have, we only closed the curtains at night so we could always take in all of the Strip. The curtains were great too because they are double layered and controlled electronically so you can open & close them from the comfort of your bed.
There is just something about some hotel beds that make them more comfortable than even your bed at home. I love a good bed that I can just melt into and feel surrounded by bed & pillow fluffiness and the Bellagio has those kinds of beds!
The soaker tub looked awesome but I never found the time to use it. The bathroom was a great size though, especially for two girls sharing it. The room came with robes and slippers too that we could wear while getting ready.
The staff was great and sent us up a really nice gift basket with wine, glasses, and perfect late night snacks.
Even if you don’t stay at the Bellagio, everyone stops by to see the ever-changing gardens – it is so incredible to see what they turn them into every time! The art always reminds me of the Rose Bowl Parade!
We had a fabulous dinner at Lago and awesome drinks each night at Lilys! I always make all of my reservations using Open Table – it is free and the most convenient way to see what restaurants have availability at which times. Plus, you earn points with every reservation and eventually start getting $$ rewards for meals!
It was such a great stay, I always recommend the Bellagio when people are asking for ideas where to stay. You just can’t go wrong.
