When I first saw influencers wearing the Spanx faux leather leggings two years ago, I told myself I didn’t need them because frankly, the price seemed a bit steep. Instead, I bought two different “dupes” from Express and Forever 21 and let me tell you, they do not even come close. When I was unsatisfied with the two other brands, I finally caved and bought the Spanx and they are WORTH IT.
When I hear “faux-leather” I imagine a plastic-y feel, an annoying noise when walking, and an uncomfortable sensation of trapped heat. These leggings are NONE of that. They are comfortable, breathable, walkable, and go with literally everything.
Let’s be honest, some of us wear leggings more than any other type of clothes on our bottom half. What started as a yoga-pant athleisure trend has worked its way into a permanent look in your wardrobe, so why not invest in the look you keep going back to?
Instead of looking like you are headed to the gym after cocktails, these leggings say “I am going out!” no matter what you put with them. Whether it is a t-shirt or sequin wrap top, the unique texture makes it clear these are NOT for the gym and that you are feeling fierce. In fact, I rocked them here at the Spice Girls concert!
