I read about La Mer products over a year ago in a few articles about Chrissy Tiegan and her love for it. Her mom used to get samples in duty free stores in the airport and make it last forever! I did some research and saw nothing but great things and so after dwelling on the price (it’s steep) I decided to start with the moisturizing soft cream. It is a small jar at only 1 oz but I was able to make it last an incredibly long time by using just the smallest amount to pat onto my skin, focusing on my eyes, forehead, and mouth. When I put this on at night I can 100% tell a difference in my skin in the morning. It is softer and brighter. If I had a late night, this cream is a MUST for me. You can try a small promotional size here but it is .24 oz so it really is a small sample, be prepared. However, it is a great way to try it without spending the big bucks.
I finally ran out of the cream and decided I needed to restock before our move. This time I decided to get one of the intro collections that also has a face wash, serum, and eye cream. The face wash feels like butter on my skin and it leaves my skin so soft I almost forget about the lotion and serum (almost). It is a soft lather so I remove my makeup first so the face wash can really work on my skin.
The Introductory Collection I purchased is at Nordstrom here, but you can try a smaller/cheaper travel sample size of all of these products here too. The price is crazy, I know, but I have tried a ton of different brands and moisturizers in a ton of ranges and this is one I know I will keep in my cabinet for a while. I have read a range of reviews on La Mer, some people swear by it and some swear it is a scam. All I can go on is my own experiences with it and I really do love it (this blog post is solely based on my own opinions and experiences).
Do you have a product you swear by?
