I used to be afraid of maxi-dresses because of my height but recently I have come to love this style. It is so easy to take from day to night and always such a comfortable option!
I bought this one at the Banana Republic Outlets. It was originally priced at $104, on clearance for $35, and then an extra 50% off!! It is a silky material that feels wonderful to wear.
When finding a maxi-dress, you really have to pay attention to the shape and the waistline. Some dresses have no identifiable waist, and while that works for someone 5’9, it does not work for those of us down at 5’4! Because this dress had such a bold pattern, I added a thing purple belt to give the waist just a little more definition.
