Color-blocking is here to stay

Color-blocking has been around for a while (hello art pop & Andy Warhol) and sometimes its just a nice way to add a little more interest to an otherwise simple silhouette. You want to color-block with streamlined, classic cuts and generally avoid mixing too many colors with textures and patterns and looking more clown than class (IMO). While color-blocking is typically done with bright, bold colors, I couldn’t help but fall in love with this oversized sweater in all of my favorite neutrals. I have been stocking up on timeless sweaters this season and this one has been on repeat because its perfect with a range of jeans and leggings. Since the sweater is so simple, an easy way to amp it up is through some bolder accessories like tassle earrings or a chunky necklace.
