Minimalism is in, and that means wearing neutral colors but still making a statement. For the last 2 years blush has been slowly cementing itself as a staple neutral among the likes of beige and grey because it’s the perfect color to be simple yet make a statement. This is particularly relevant when it comes to sweaters. In warmer weather, we can wear shirts with tassles, ruffles, bows, stipes, every fun new trend and it doesn’t (always) feel kitschy or overwhelming. With a sweater though, push it too far and it will feel more like an ugly sweater party top than a fashion statement.
Blush is the perfect color to feel updated but not overdone this Fall & Winter season, and from the past two years it is pretty safe to say that these can easily become staples for the years to come.
It can sometimes feel hard to find a sweater that doesn’t make you feel frumpy but this color still feels light and fresh. Here are a couple of sweaters that I have in my winter rotation as well as a few other great options!
