When we think of winter sometimes we think we have to cover -up every inch of skin to stay warm which means lots of pants and layers. As a Florida-turned-Vegas girl, I know that not all winter days call for the puffer coats I have been wearing lately. Sometimes, to take a summer dress into winter, all you need is a fluffy sweater and a pair of over-the-knee boots!
This shirt dress has long sleeves but the sweater adds just enough warmth to cut the chill. Boots are fantastic with every look in winter and they keep your legs warm especially high ones to compensate for a shorter hemline! If you feel it’s not warm enough, adding some tights is a perfect fix!
A wide-brimmed hat is a perfect accessory to keep your head warm and block out the wind just as well as it blocks out the summer sun, I love my floppy BP one from Nordstrom!
