Last weekend we went to the Life is Beautiful concert series. On Sunday we saw Jill and Julia, Saint Motel, Walk the Moon, Weezer, Brandon Flowers, The Killers, and Death Cab For Cutie. The event was INCREDIBLE. They turned downtown into it’s own mini-city. While the music and food was incredible, I was extremely interested in all of the Street Art that I had not noticed before.
There has been a huge push to make downtown more beautiful and while there are some obvious pieces I have seen in the last year, I was really excited to see so many things I had missed before!
They had an “Art Motel” and while I’m not sure if this was for the event or for everyday…it was so cool!
I can’t wait to have another chance to check it out down there and see more of the buildings that we didn’t have close access to!
