When I was walking in our local grocery store the other day I did a double take when I saw Red Velvet Oreos. Even though I can’t eat them (darn gluten), I just can’t pass up something in my favorite flavor!
It is so easy to take these (or your favorite Oreo flavor) and elevate them with a quick half dip into chocolate or candy coating and sprinkle them with a few gold sprinkles!
I love the red-white-gold contrast on the cookies! I like to use candy melts or other candy coating for the white, and ghiradelli if I want actual chocolate. I sprinkle the sprinkles on (lol) with my fingers so I can ensure more even placement because sometimes when you shake them I think it can get clumpy looking.
