The only bells you need are these sleeves

I was looking at some middle school photos the other day and reminiscing about the ol’ bell-bottom jeans. Not a unique trend as it circles back around every decade or two but I kind of miss my old bells! Since this ’70s style doesn’t seem to be coming back around anytime soon, I have had to set my sights on other ways to get my flared fix — by way of sleeves!

Elaborate and flared sleeves have been in the background for the last couple seasons (I wore one top with bell-sleeves here). They can be an understated way to add a touch of detail to an otherwise minimalistic top or one more embellishment to make a top a huge statement.

I’ve already talked about how blush is the neutral you need right now so it can be no surprise that my eyes would fall to a top like this! This sweater is so incredible soft and coxy without feeling frumpy. The flowy bell sleeve feels ladylike and fun – although I did have to watch where my arms went when I was eating.

This is a top best worn for fall because once you start layering it, you can’t really appreciate the look any more and you end up with extra material stuffed in your jacket sleeve, but if you plan to be indoors, or are in a spot with more moderate winters, you can get months of wear out of this great top.
