Most fall trends are consistent from year to year with a few tweaks. Calf and knee-high boots, soft cashmere sweaters, slouchy beanies, oversized sweaters, layering and jeans jeans jeans. One thing that can change though are the trending fall colors of those pieces. This fall, two of the biggest colors are olive/army green and burgundy/cognac. These enhanced versions of basic red and green are rich enough to make any piece feel more luxorious in any detail. I snagged this top at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because I love the color and the light flowy material is perfect for layering.
I paired it wish my acid-washed denim and lace-up flats for now but as we move into actual fall I will be bringing out the boots in full force for it!
Missed the sale? Here are some other awesome pieces in these hot fall colors!
I brought out an olive shirt I have had for several years for a cooler evening that felt like fall to me. I even got to test it out with my Kylie Cosmetics lip gloss in Lord. I am loving metallics right now and snagged the pair of gold Nine West slip-ons on sale at Saks but you can snag a similar pair here.
Here are some picks for this fun fall color!
What are your thoughts? Are you feeling these colors for fall too?
