It may sound like a sushi restaurant but Sweets Raku is anything but. In fact, they only serve desserts. Yup, you read that right. Here, you don’t have to feel bad about having your sweets before dinner, because that is all you are going to find!
The menu changes seasonally and each dish is an avant garde piece of art – as beautiful to look at as they are to eat. I have been dying to get here since I moved to Vegas and when we were making our way to dinner in China Town and drove past the sign I knew we would have to make a stop!
We sat at the bar and watched them make all the pieces for the different desserts which was really fun. You can order order a dish ala carte or you can do the pairing where they bring out a sorbet to cleanse your palate first. We chose to do the dessert wine pairing instead.
I hope we can make it back one more time before we leave!
