I have been dying to get onto Mt Charleston all winter to see the snow and let the dogs play in it. Unfortunately the parking lot where I wanted to hike was too icy and we couldn’t park there so we just headed to the Lodge for drinks and to let the pups play on the hill.
I had a “peach cobbler” which is apple cider with peach and butterscotch schnapps and is delicious. Shai got a hot chocolate. 
The have a dog deck outside and in spite of the snow, it didn’t feel too cold so we brought the pups there too while we finished our drinks.
Who doesn’t love some fresh snow?? We are hoping for good weather this weekend to head up again!
