Side braid with a Twist

Normally I am very lazy when it comes to my hair, in fact, I only shampoo it once a week! However, I was given the chance to teste out these awesome new products from Hask and got a little more creative!

The shampoo, conditioner, and root thickening spray are all mint infused which smells amazing and feels so refreshing on my scalp and they are all free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, drying alcohol and artificial colors which is important to me.

After washing and conditioning my hair, I used the Hask root thickening spray. If I blew dry my hair it would have been even fluffier but I am so lazy that I have not used a blow dryer in almost 10 years.

I parted my hair in a slight zigzag to give it a little more visual interest, then started braiding the right side of my hair across. When I got to the left side, I secured the braid with a holder and then began to twist my hair on the left side starting at the part and taking one piece over the other in a twist until it reached the braid. I then wove the twist in an out of the braid to make it a four piece braid and secured it with a pony.
