Matching separates is another fashion trend that I have had my eye on for a while but was wary of trying out. Crop tops can be a tricky thing but when they are paired with a high waisted skirt or pants, I think they can be cute and trendy without showing too much skin.
This outfit from ASOS was on sale and felt like the perfect choice for me to foray into this trend. I love that the skirt has length but still has slits to show some leg and the crop top just shows a sliver of stomach. I felt a bit retro so I did my hair to kind of match the vibe!
I loved this wall downtown and just had to take a couple picture with it!
