When I was younger I had the top cartilage of my ear pierced which could be combined with the bottom piercing on some cuff-style earrings but that has long closed up. Luckily this fun ear cuff is just that-a cuff that clips on to the top of your ear. I adjusted it slightly to prevent pinching and away we went!
I love accessories but even this cuff felt a bit bold and crazy for me. It was only $5 at TopShop though so I couldn’t resist! In order to keep from feeling too gaudy, I wore a simple outfit, keeping everything black and essentially pattern free ( the jeans have a little to them).
Merlin wanted to be in the picture too!
I got these lace up flats on sale at DSW for just $13 and I could not be happier! They are suede so I sprayed them with some scotch guard to help keep them looking fresh!
I have to say, I almost think I like these ear cuffs better in pictures than in person! I was a little self conscious wearing them at first because they stood out so much…they really draw attention to your ears (haha obvious, I know). Luckily, they were so light and easy to wear I was able to forget about them. Wearing my hair down made them a little less obvious, which I am OK with, but the hair did get tangled in the top every so often!
What do you think? Is this a style you would wear?
