Just because fashion is always changing doesn’t mean you need to buy new things each year. If you pick pieces in classic cuts but with a twist, they can go through life and all the fashion changes with you without looking outdated. I got this yellow coat almost a decade ago and I love it as much now as I did back then. The awesome yellow color is what made it stand out to me back then and continues to make it stand out now.
Sometimes you may be wary of bright colors like this but when they are bright without being neon, you can actually pair them with more than you might imagine. I love this coat with black, white, gray, purple, red, green, blue, and even orange. The key is to keep the rest of your outfit in a similar shade so you don’t end up looking like a Twister game of primary colors.
I have to say, I feel a bit Team Gryffindor in these particular colors…and I am ok with that! haha
